This collection is a deep dive delve into the world of stitches and fabric manipulation. Our carpet designers have taken to needle and thread, developing ideas around “the stitch”, and the luxury world of couture fashion embellishment. We have looked at treatments such as basting stitches, kantha, embroidery, crochet, knitting and tambour hook beading, to name a few.
We considered the many treatments available to our creativity, from machine and hand embroidery, AI and digital applications. Here the humble thread becomes the designer’s creative mark and expression. The different effects created by silken-spun filaments, and sparkling tactility, become the motifs with which to grace our floors.
