𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆: Nestled along a picturesque quarter-mile stretch of private beach, the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa seamlessly blends tropical tranquility with signature Marriott service. Guests can unwind in style in one of the resort's updated, chic guestrooms or 31 ocean-inspired beachfront suites, complete with private balconies and floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. The resort boasts an impressive array of amenities, including a lagoon-style pool, world-class spa, and over 50,000 square feet of upscale event space. To complement the resort's existing beach-inspired décor and luxury details, Los Angeles-based Creative Resource Associates partnered with Couristan's studio to design custom carpets for the resort's Corridors, Ballrooms, Meeting Rooms, and Stairs. The resulting design perfectly captures the essence of the oceanfront location, with subtle movements and strong coverage that adds depth and sophistication to the resort's public spaces. Over 140,000 square feet of 80/20 woven Axminster Couristan carpet was installed throughout the resort, adding a touch of luxury and refinement to every area. ⁠

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆: A S

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆: A Southern California desert retreat the Hilton Palm Springs is situated downtown in the desirable Village of Palm Springs. Nestled at the foot of the San Jacinto Mountains the hotel is only steps from luxury boutiques, art galleries and charming cafes. The property features 261 spacious guestrooms and 33,000 square feet of flexible special event space including two ballrooms a state-of-art day spa, landscaped pool courtyard and fine dining. Owner and interior designer Gia Donati of @giasinteriors_ was invited by the property to bring a fresh approach to their lobby. She evoked a mid century, modern color palette throughout her design scheme with the usage of vibrant hues of turquoise, teal, lime green and mustard gold. To set the tone she chose a modular oval sofa with a planter of an assortment of palm leaves as you enter into the hotel. Beyond the entry piece, modern kidney shaped sofas were designed and a coffee table in the main seating area adjacent to two areas of an eclectic mix of mid century styled chairs and tables. Setting the foundation and highlighting the furniture pieces are a series of bright, brilliant custom 80% wool/20% nylon Axminster palm fond rugs that harmoniously brought the light airy feel of Palm Springs culture to life.⁠

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆: The Kimpton Grand Roatan Resort and Spa in West Bay Beach, Honduras sits atop the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the second largest barrier reef in the world, making its turquoise waters a sought-after destination for adventurous tourists. The property features 119 guestrooms, a spa, four restaurants, nearly 6,000 square feet of meeting and events spaces and provides its guests with a range of activities. Led by Manhattan Beach, California-based designer Theresa Fatino, the expertise of our woven Axminster program was utilized to create these statement-making carpets for the meeting spaces of this tropical island retreat. Befitting a tropical island surrounded by lush landscape, Fatino's design scheme for the property tells a story of easy-going sophistication and rich contrast. From the lush and rugged coastline to locally sourced materials, the spaces were thoughtfully curated to blend high design with local artisan skills and an overarching goal to celebrate the craftsmanship of Latin America, Honduras and specifically Roatan. Capturing the spirit of the island, the woven Axminster patterned carpets provided visual points of interest with hints of indigenous culture, earthy materials and a tropical palette.⁠
