Couristan Unveils Groundbreaking Initiatives at HD Expo
Company Reveals New Pom Box, Futuretense Collection & Collaborates on Design Well Pavilion
Fort Lee, NJ – March 26, 2025 – Couristan, a renowned flooring company within the contract and hospitality industry, is proud to announce three innovative initiatives at the upcoming HD Expo in Las Vegas, May 6-8, 2025.
Futuretense Collection
In conjunction with the release of Couristan’s new 600 color pom box, Couristan designers have developed a collection of patterns that showcase the strengths of designing with tonality. “For inspiration the team looked to the future, and imagined what patterns might grace our floors decades from now”, says Couristan Contract/Hospitality Account Executive, Charles Register. “Clients may customize the designs for broadloom, hand-tufted rugs, or high-definition injection-printed broadloom”.
“The Futuretense Collection encapsulates a sense of what “will be”, what is yet to come, inhabiting life forwards and upwards. Inspired by the vastness of open skies and radiant light, the patterns are a testament to the power light exerts upon the atmosphere”, says Rebecca Johnstone, Couristan Senior Design Consultant, who developed the collection with Register and Couristan’s talented team of designers. “We used a mix of hand drawn and digital elements to harness those subtle steps between tones, eliciting emotion and touching the soul, even as we march intrepidly into a greater digital and virtual age,” says Johnstone. “We relish the opportunity to elevate experiences through the carpet designs of the future!”
Offering a range of suggested weave options, Futuretense allows clients to further express their design inspirations and customize the collection for use as broadloom designs or one-of-a-kind hand-tufted concepts, or high-definition injection printed broadloom. The Couristan design team will work with interior designers to creatively and cohesively adapt their concepts for roll out into distinctive commercial spaces.
HD Design Well Pavilion
In addition, Couristan has partnered with HBA to design the carpet for the 2025 HD Design Well Pavilion (Booth #4973) at HD Vegas and is a sponsor of the booth.
Recognizing the critical role of wellness and sustainability in the hospitality industry, the Design Well Pavilion, designed by HBA, is a dedicated space for sessions that explore the latest trends, solutions, and projects making an impact in the $6.3 trillion wellness industry. Crafted as a secret garden, the space offers a retreat on the show floor, a getaway, a distancing from bustling of the show floor. It’s a place where attendees can reflect, socialize, and learn.
