This LEED Silver hotel is one of Hilton’s “lifestyle” brands that provides its guests with a boutique hotel experience. Kiko Singh, a Principal of BraytonHughes Design Studios based in San Francisco, created small and intimate areas with a pragmatic floor plan and strong ties to place through literal and figurative interpretations. Couristan’s Axmnster carpets were used for the property’s Conference Room, Corridors and Restaurant areas, while 100% wool machine-tufted carpets with over-tufting were utilized in the Guestrooms and Suites. The Lobby area which incorporates a comfy, residential flair as well as the property’s Boardroom and Lounge, feature a series of 100% wool, hand-tufted rugs with tip-shearing applied for a textured feel and appearance.
