The Embassy Suites by Hilton in Round Rock, Texas is a full-service hotel that features 180 guestrooms and over 17,000 square feet of total event space. Adjacent to the Round Rock Premium Outlets, this luxury hotel also joins the Gastobar Revolution as the home to Bar Louie. Designer Mary Brightwell of MCS Architects in Houston, Texas wanted a geometric-organic combination with layered design elements that would allow the geometric background to disappear and reappear within the hotel’s carpets. A color palette was chosen that featured warm neutrals with pops of reds for contrast, the combination of design and color usage was beautifully translated within the hotel’s Public Spaces, Ballroom, Meeting Rooms, Pre-Function and Lobby areas where Couristan’s 80% wool/20% nylon woven Axminster program was on full display.
