Located in downtown Fort Worth, the Fort Worth Convention Center is the city’s premier event facility, boasting over 300,000 square feet of event space. For some of their most popular spaces, including Ballrooms, Meeting Rooms, Pre-Function and Corridors, Couristan’s Omni Weave Axminster program was used to enhance the appearance of the Convention Center’s renovations. The design expertise of Elements of Architecture from Fort Worth, Texas and Interior Design Group in Arlington, Texas, were responsible for the featured jewel-toned star design. This unique design concept, mirrors the Convention Center’s contemporary ceiling which illuminates with 53 metal, small and large-scaled stars that draw their inspiration from the infamous bright and star-filled Texas skies at night. Over 24,000 square yards of Couristan Axminster carpet was used to cover this project.
