Located in the heart of the city just steps from famous Union Square, where visitors immerse themselves in the shopping, dining, and nightlife scene of San Francisco. ⁠This 351 guestroom hotel, including 22 suites, provides stunning views of the bay and airport through floor-to-ceiling windows. The design challenge for Couristan’s team and BraytonHughes Design Studios was to capture the effects of light playing on the surface of the San Francisco Bay.  They drew inspiration from a myriad of rhythms and blues, running across the floor as the momentary glances of light on the ocean’s surface; almost like walking on water.
