Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman is an upscale lifestyle hotel that offers an unparalleled island oasis, boasting 282 exceptional sunrise and sunset ocean view guestrooms, multi-concept dining including one of the island’s only rooftop lounges, elevated pool and beach side experiences. The hotel’s garnered accolades include the Cayman Islands Hotel Architecture Award and the Cayman Islands New Hotel Construction and Design Award for 2023-2024.  Farouki Farouki, a New Orleans-based architecture and interior design firm, unlocked their vision for the resort focusing on Grand Cayman’s unique culture, embodying the island’s lush topography through warm and cool color palettes. These 80/20 woven Axminster carpets were used for the hotel’s Guest Corridors and Elevator Lobbies. Firm partner and designer, Caroline Landry Farouki drew inspiration for the carpets from lines in the sand and the variety of rusty colors of Caymanite a local Cayman Islands stone. Unintended the dashed cut lines between the corridor runners and door drops were not trimmed off for the model corridor, the client loved them and decided to incorporate them upon the production roll out.
