The Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center recently completed a comprehensive guest room renovation. Dubbed “Styled for Living: Where Fashion Meets Hospitality,” the project transformed all 300 guest rooms including 18 suites with sophisticated, fashion-inspired design elements that celebrate the hotel’s connection to the neighboring luxury retail destination. Texas-based interior design firm Flick Mars led the creative vision, tailoring the interiors to reflect the elegance of couture fashion and upscale shopping experiences. Designer Kathryn Doll collaborated with Couristan to create custom 80% wool/20% nylon Axminster carpets for the property’s guest corridors and elevator lobbies. Inspired by the textures of fine jewelry and metallic finishes, the woven designs add depth, sophistication, and visual interest throughout the space, creating an elevated guest experience that seamlessly blends style, comfort, and luxury.
