The newly renovated Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill is just 1,287 steps from the U.S. Capitol Building and a short walk from attractions such as the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum and world-famous national monuments. Setting a new standard for hospitality, the transformation reimagined every aspect of the property to provide a truly elevated guest experience. This included redesigned guestrooms that combine modern comfort with timeless style, a sunken lobby and reception area featuring a grand atrium, and revitalized public spaces that offer a fresh sense of energy and sophistication. Inspired by the geometric origins of the city, Parker Torres Design from Sudbury, Massachusetts, collaborated with our design studio to create 77,000 square feet of 80/20 woven Axminster carpet for the property’s Ballroom (the largest on Capitol Hill), Meeting Rooms, and Pre-Function areas of this legacy hotel that will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2026.
