Celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2015, the leadership at the Montammy Golf Club realized that their aging and tired clubhouse facility was unable to fulfill the needs of their current and future membership. It was decided that a monumental renovation program was needed that would provide the club with an aesthetic appeal within a fresh, contemporary appeal, while providing a superior quality member experience. The task was to create a sophisticated contemporary design with broad appeal, paying particular attention to the use of neutral colors accented with dramatic lacquered details. Decorative lighting highlighted the design details, as contemporary carpet graphics inspired by nature, custom designed specifically for the club, completed the palette. JBD JGA Design and Architecture chose Couristan’s ColourOptics Print and woven Axminster programs to cover the floors of club’s newly renovated Dining and Public Spaces.
