Creating a fresh, energetic interior that effortlessly complemented the stately 19th century structure of Nashville’s Union Station Yards, the Dallas-based ForrestPerkins design team, found inspiration in the original stained glass windows and translated those colorful motifs into dramatic, brightly-hued rugs using Couristan’s custom Hand-Tufted Rugs program. Adding a youthful element to the classic luxury of this historical landmark, over 5,300 square yards of Couristan’s hospitality quality hand-tufted rugs and Omni Weave Axminster carpeting were placed in the Lobby, Lobby Lounge, Corridors, Meeting Rooms and Ballrooms. Paired with the updated furnishings, sleek polychrome paint scheme and soft lighting; the result was a breathtaking visual experience from floor to ceiling.
