With deluxe accommodations inspired by the surrounding landscape, the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort juxtaposes modern architectural silhouettes alongside Renaissance flourishes. A tropical palette of aqua and coral, elaborate fountains, towering palm trees and grassy expanses render the hotel as idyllic as it is striking. Founder and award-winning interior designer Kim Coombs and her team at KBCO Design used their ingenuity and expertise to create a stunning transformation of the resort’s ballroom and pre-function areas. Their goal was to brighten the area with a contemporary resort feel. The firm truly captured their client’s design brand aesthetics as over 8,000 square yards of Couristan Axminster carpeting was used for this spectacular redesign.
